It is almost impossible to get past the Peking Duck that leads of the menu on the online ordering system of the Choyan Restaurant on St. Johns Avenue in Gordon, but the effort will be worth it, whether you are after takeaway or delivery for a quick weeknight dinner of something more elaborate for a larger group. Many entrees, soups, omelets, vegetable dishes, noodles, rice and drinks reward those who persevere and scroll down the menu of the Choyan Restaurant to locate and select all their favourite Chinese and Asian dishes.

- We order from Choyan infrequently, however, we eat in the restaurant about once a month. For this order, they brought us chicken instead of prawns which is what I ordered. However, when I called to let them know, they brought the correct dish within record time. Although the order was incorrect initially, which has never happened before, they fixed it straight away. Well done, and well deserves a 5-star rating for customer service.

- I need to place a timely order because I wad doing a short interstate trip. I read some of the reviews and was worries that the order will not be ready when I wanted. It turn out they were very much well prepared. Staff were really friendly, accommodating and resourceful when I decided last minute that I need to take my order later than I requested. The food is very yummy. Love the Peking duck.

- Appalling. I will report them to Fair Trading. I ordered at 6.27pm and received a message saying it would be delivered at 7.30pm. That was a little surprising as Tuesday is not a busy night and normally a 30 minute response is received but I accepted this. I was surprised at 7.40pm that it was not there to be told that the driver had just left with five other deliveries. I rang them again at 7.50pm and was told that they would ring the driver and let me know. They didn't let me know so I rang them back again to be told that they couldn't get hold of the driver. I was obviously last on the delivery list as when he arrived after 8.00pm the food was cold and awful. He was rude and didn't care less. Nor did Choyan Restaurant. I would be very cautious if I were you about using them in future.

- Long time customer of Choyan Restaurant. However this order was 45 minutes late and they forgot an item (that was then delivered 20 minutes later). Food wasn't that warm when it arrived either. Otherwise the quality of food was good except for the fried dumplings (not great). Would order again but maybe directly through the restaurant.

- If you aren't hungry (order took 1hr 40 mins) enjoy cold food, have no taste buds, I would suggest you jump online and place an order. As a paying customer, my view is simple, don't tell people a time for delivery, then deliver well over the estimated time. Service at the restaurant is excellent, but sadly, delivery is woeful. Someone needs a kick up the.....
