Most famous for its Tandoori Chicken Wings, Singh's Bala Da Dhaba in Glen Iris offers the latest tastes fresh from India at an affordable price. Located on Malvern Road, Singh's Bala Da Dhaba features a multitude of savory entrees, such as Tandoori Fish Tikka, Calamari Pakora, and Chicken Tikka that compliment the other menu choices perfectly. - Delivery came 15 mins early, which was good. As a takeaway the food was not bad, but not gourmet. The butter chicken was a little too sweet & the masala was not as spicey as requested. Would use again.

- We got three dishes - lamb korma was average, lentil dhal was bland and gluggy and the mixed subji was passable but overpowered by too much heat. Garlic naan had yellow stuff rubbed over it that we assume was meant to be the garlic component but no real garlic flavour. Overall very disappointing.

- Not impressived with the delivery service as I had pre-ordered 1.5 hours prior to the opening time and yet the food arrived 20 mins later than the time as given. This is unacceptable particularly as the food needed to be reheated as a result. The food itself was very average Indian fare. The 'mixed' veg pakoras were the strangest I have ever seen or tasted. They were rock hard, overly salted and their florescent orange colour was disconcerting to say the least. And there was nothing mixed about the pakoras as they were all the same! The special fried rice was soggy and overcooked. Overall, far too disappointing to try again.

- The food was delivered in the time frame given and the curries were great. The packaging of the Bhaji wasn't ideal and as a consequence they were soggy - but the flavour was lovely. I will be ordering from here again.
