- Ordered for an 8pm pick-up. Received confirmation email and text, confirming an 8pm pick-up. Upon arriving, we were made to wait around 15 minutes for the restaurant to then realise that they didn't have our order. We were then asked to re-order and wait another 20 minutes for our order. No discount was offered and in the end, the food was ordinary also. Will not be dining with Mamak Tandoori House again.

- Really delicious food, always up to standard. Food was on time and servings were generous. Only not good point is we were missing one sauce. Usually we get a green sauce and a white (raita) type sauce. Today's order was missing the white sauce.

- Nice feed. Even though it's slightly annoying to pick out bits of star anise, cloves, curry leaves, etc, it feels more authentic and shows they don't cut corners when it comes to getting the flavours right. Will return for sure.

- Alas the speed on a bussy public holiday let this place down, My Tandoori Chicken was overdone, but the Beef Rendang was good. It's nice to see a different restaurant, A good Malaysian option away from the standard Thai and Indian that dominates the restaurant takeaway scene.

- Unfortunately I was disappointed with the service as I requested the meal be delivered at 7pm and it arrived at 6pm. I was texted and asked to come out to the street to collect my order, a bit strange, and not the best service either. I've eaten Mamaks food before and its excellent, 5 star almost - especially their pepper masala, but I do feel without rice included in the price of a curry it's a little overpriced.

- Trying to find a good Indian in our local area for years now. Wanted to order a chicken rogan josh but as it's all order online I could not change the meat with the dish or find a number to call and ask. I went with the chicken pepper masala but mild. Received a phonecall to say they couldn't make it mild but would be medium heat- so why have the piton to change the heat? They assured me it would not be too hot. Whilst on the line I also enquired about a chicken rogan josh and after a few minutes of banter it became apparent this was going to be complicated and they wanted to charge extra. I stuck with the original order. Anyway the curry was not medium (I have been eating curries for years to know) it was hot, the chicken was not breast meat which was disappointing and the garlic naan I ordered had no garlic in it (not that I could taste anyway). The rice was good but how hard it is to cook plain basmati rice?
Perhaps the milder curries would be better but I am reluctant to try after this experience. - Sam

- We have eaten from here twice and the food has been great on both occassions, however we ordered a few weeks ago and the order went through only to be contacted by eat now 15 mins later to say the restaurant had no delivery driver. We agreed to go and collect our food, but there was no compensation or sincere apology for the inconvenience caused. Yesterday we decided to try and order again hoping our previous experience was a one off only to place our order then receive an email and text stating that "we cannot fulfil your order." There was no explanation given. Thoroughly disappointing. Shame this place can't get their communication and delivery services in order as the food is terrific! We probably wont be eating there again!
