The locals are quite vocal when the subject of great Thai food arises and you mention the Thai Place in Epping. For something unique and interesting, try Grill Barramundi Fish-a whole fish stuffed with lemon grass and spices, served with garlic chili lime sauce that has to be experienced to be believed. If takeaway or delivery is your choice, the Thai Place has a free online ordering system that will have you clicking curries and other great dishes regardless of whether you are after a quick weeknight dinner or have something more elaborate in mind.

- I placed an order with Thai Place, at approx. 6;30pm they said it would delivered at 7.50pm, I got it at 7.35pm. I selected prawns with the Pad Thai and got pork instead, The desert of sticky rice and custard was dry and very overcooked, and the meal had MSG in it, it was expensive. And the quality was less than I expected for the price!

- The beef Pad See Eew was delicious, however they estimated it would be ready in 10 minutes, then I received a phone call 20 minutes later saying they didn't have the ingredients for half of my order (corn cakes) and asked if I wanted to change it. I said no as I was almost at the restaurant to pick up my order. Then they still proceeded to charge me a credit card surcharge because my order was under $15, even though I argued my original order was $20.
I wouldn't have minded if they called me immediately when they weren't able to fulfill my order, but to call 10 minutes after it was supposed to be picked up and then not work with me when I arrived, I was unimpressed with their service. - Amy

- We generally eat in but decided to order home delivery last night. Got the confirmation that it would be 60 mins - that was fine. Took 90 mins - I rang restaurant and they didn't seem to know where our order was. I wish I had just cooked an omelet myself and not ordered an hour and a half is beyond an acceptable waiting time.
