Shikara Mindarie Indian Restaurant, open for dinner every night of the week and for delivery, is a gem for those who love South Asian cuisine. Specialising in particular dishes for India's various regions, Shikara Mindarie Indian Restaurant offers dishes that are authentic, traditionally made, and delectable. The lamb vindaloo, a typically piping hot dish, is made with a touch of vinegar and complex masala base. It is superb. The dal makhani, a slow-cooked, buttery lentil dish, is excellent with any order. The gulab jamun, a syrupy dessert, is a must.

- Ordered a pick up for just 2 curries and a naan bread was ordered at 7:50pm and the estimated time to pick up was 8:10pm. We arrived at the restaurant and only received our food at 8:55pm. If was clear they had forgotten our order. We decided to try Shikara for the first time to hope it could be our regular Indian take away but to wait over an hour for just two curries seems a bit too long personally. Food was lovely.

- I ordered dinner at 6.30pm and found out once order was placed that delivery would take 1 hour, due at 7.25pm. The food arrived at 9pm. During that time the restaurant did not answer their phone so I couldn't find out what was going on. The delivery driver was apologetic and said chef was sick. Food tasted like that was the case. Never again.

- Average Indian food- all 3 main vegetarian dishes seemed to have the same generic orange coloured sauce with little variation in flavour and no depth of flavour with regard to spices. Naan bread also not that great. First time we have had food from this restaurant and we were disappointed.

- Food was ok, pretty pricey after spening $100 on food for the family and after the 1hr 20min wait for it, they forgot half the order.
I ring up to see if they can bring it back they tell me they will credit my next order cause they are too busy to deliver (still only have half my meal which i cant eat without the other half of my meal) asked them to deliver what i orderded and they tell me it will take another hour! For their stuff up!
Rest of the order didnt show up for another hour and a half. Leaving my other food cold
