Wembley's Shalimar Curries offers a selection of classic North Indian dishes. Open for dinner and available for delivery, Shalimar Curries is best known for its simple, tandoori dishes. The chicken tikka masala, carefully marinated in aromatic spices, is succulent and tender. The daal masala is a local favourite. This hearty black lentil dish compliments any order. Shalimar Curries makes a wonderful variety of fresh naan, stuffed with seasoned ground meat, dried fruits, creamy paneer, or vegetables. The badam kulfi is sweet, homemade, and delicious.

- Chicken Hiryali dish was mild despite saying spicy not much evidence of the green chillies is's supposed to be booked with. Not enough breast pieces. Naan, pickles and Rice good enough. Onion Bhaji was a big soggy but a huge portion.

- The food was great. However, I arrived 10 minutes early to pick it up and it was already on the counter waiting for me, so it would have been quite cold had I arrived on time. Maybe the expected pick up time needs to be adjusted

- We've eaten here on numerous occasions but thought last night's meal was one of the worst. The Lamb Vindaloo rated as a one chilli was so hot it was inedible. And we like hot food... Shame as it has put us off the New Shalimar.

- The food was order at 6.50pm & ETA for delivery was 7.30pm . The food did not turn up and I tried to ring restaurant at 8.50 and there was no answer . We still haven't got our food & have been charged for it

- Communication seems to be lacking as we were contacted twice by the restaurant to ask the same question re pickup time.
Then once we got the order home we realised they had given us 2x of the same Chicken dish but no palak paneer!! Not great as now we had no vegetarian option for a vegetarian dining with us. Couldn't be bothered going all the way back to rectify while the rest of the food got cold.

- Just cashed in our 8th order special, so tried some new things. Lamb Korma = creamy and delicious. The fried fish was tasty! Speedy, hot and fresh. The chicken vindaloo was killer as always. Top stuff again, consistently good quality food (if a little on the sweet side, but I'll let that slide for consistent quality).

- Good value for money, delivered on time and tasted hot and fresh. Butter Chicken and Chicken 65 were noticeably sweet compared to others, probably the sweetest dishes of their type I've had in Perth. The Vegetable Masala however was very tasty and well spiced. Next time we will order some more traditionally savoury dishes for comparison, overall pretty good.

- Probably the tastiest Indian takeaway I have eaten to date. Spices and creaminess of the butter chicken was mouthwatering. Garlic Naan so delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Stands out from the rest.

- We always order from New Shalimar as the food is fresh, delicious and the meat to sauce ratio is decent. We have recently started to use the delivery option and have not had to wait more than 30minutes for our dinner to arrive from ordering. We recommend New Shalimar to all our family as an affordable and delicious Indian takeaway. ☺
