Royal Orchid Thai Cafe is located at 363 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, Victoria. Choose from the mouthwatering chef's specials including Vegetarian Delight, Jungle Curry, Sweet Chilli Barramundi, or Legless Lamb. The Coconut Prawns, Coconut Calamari, and Beef Curry Puffs are some of the popular entrees. They have the usual range of curries and noodle dishes, and an extensive vegetarian menu. - Delivery said 75 mins. Took 50 mins which was great and it arrived steaming hot too! We had prawn crackers with peanut sauce, pad Thai and and Penang curry on rice (medium). Flavours were beautiful and meat quality was very good too. My curry was the perfect amount of spice. Will order from here again :)

- I had ordered to be delivered at 9:30 pm. Soon after the order, the restaurant called me, as I had requested in the comments the chicken not to have any spicy condiments and they wanted to confirm with if it was ok the chicken to be marinated in pepper.
As it seemed that they were proceeding with the order, I called back to confirm that I had ordered to 9:30pm delivery only (it was 7pm). Upon confirmation I assumed that it should be ok. Not far long, my wife called me saying that the food had been delivered, an hour and a half sooner. I called the restaurant, explained what happened and they offered to deliver again everything at 9:30pm. That's what they did. I gave them back the origina delivery and received the second delivery. Upon checking, the order, the delivery guy noticed that he had forgotten the icecream and went back to get it. At the end, all was good and food was nice and sitll hot. - Luis

- Food arrived 25 minutes late, despite my ordering one full hour before delivery time, and the restaurant confirming twice the delivery time themselves. Food arrived stone cold, had to be microwaved. Prawns still had tails on them, even in the fried rice, meaning you had to spit out mouthfuls of food when you came across them. Overall, nowhere near the quality that the price tag deserves.
