- To expensive for what you get in a takeaway container , mains are double the price to that of nearby Chinese restaurants and also you get prawn chips thrown in with your order for free. Won't be wasting my money there again.

- Absolutely beautiful, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Illawarra.
Deep fried duck with lemon sauce was really good, and surprisingly it did not have bones in it. Butterflied prawns in garlic butter sauce were so flavoursome, I could just drink that sauce.
The special fried rice was good, like a special fried rice should be.
Can bit a pricey when ordering a few dishes however it is well worth every dollar you spend, if not at least to treat yourself.

- Good:Quality is good and speed is fast. The value is ok. Blue River is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Illawarra. I recommend the boneless chicken for young children.

- We ordered at 6:30pm tonight and was told it would take 70mins. It is now 8:15pm and still no order. When I spoke to the restaurant 25mins ago they said the order was cooked and waiting for the driver to deliver. Not sure how tasty or hot it will be after it has been sitting around for so long. That is if it ever turns up.

- Placed order at 8.07pm via eatnow app......text confirmation sent saying 50 minutes until delivery.....almost 1 1/2 hours later I ring and after some checking ow oops we missed your order........another half hour or so YAY I get my dinner at about 10pm :( Yes I got a sorry but excuse me??
