- very very disappointed with the late delivery. I pacifically wrote that I needed the food delivery asap , said it will take 60 mins and yet they were late for another 20 minutes. When I called , all they said was we were very busy . I wish I could get refund the money !!

- Took an hour and a half to deliver food at midnight. We fell asleep hungry while waiting. Said they'd be 60 mins, were 30 minutes late on top of that. When I called to inquire about their lateness there was no apology. Delivery driver didn't apologise. Normally we would understand a one-time lateness, but this is the third time in a row Cafe Chennai has been severely late and the lack of apology is so rude. Very frustrated with our experiences.

- Delivery was friendly and the food I received is nice enough, but not what I ordered. Instead of the $15 Chicken Dosa I ordered, I received a plain Dosa ($8.90), so not only was it disappointingly not the meal I was looking forward to eating, it was also worth $6 less than I paid.

- I was really disappointed with my recent order, I have to throw the food as I was not able to eat as the coconut chutney was too sour and methu vadi doesn't have any salt and idali and sambar also not at all tasty.I have only had the mango lassi rest of the food I threw as I am unable to eat.

- Egg Vindaloo was the worst Indian dish I've had anywhere, no exageration. 2 eggs, halved, in a tub full of thin, watery indiscriminate brown sauce. Nothing about it could be likened to 'vindaloo' as you would know it and the egg halves had clearly been cooked separately. Complete waste of money, only good for the bin. Rest of the order was quite good, shame to have such a terrible dish served along with it. Hard for me to order anything untried from here again.

- Very disappointing. The gobi tasted rubbery and uncooked and the paruppu vadai was bland and flavourless. The eggplant curry was okay, but not unlike something from a packet. The only redeeming item was the mushroom oothampa, which was nice, however, not enough to make me want to come back.
