Desi Tandoori Dhaba in Noble Park is a great place to go for Indian and Punjabi cuisine. They serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that are made with traditional ingredients and seasonings. - This place is awesome to eat at. Both at the restaurant and the takeaway. It's excellent value for money and the good is as good as Clayton but it's closer. I love the naan and can throughly recommend the goat.

- *VERY IMPORTANT* I have never felt the NEED to review anything before and I've definitely never reviewed food but for your HEALTH and WELL-BEING please read this and I will keep this as short as I can.
I am truly writing from my heart and if only one person changes their mind and goes somewhere else based on this then it was worth every dollar of the $60 I spent at this place.
I love Indian I've had butter chicken at probably 15 different restaurants throughout Melbourne and most have been good, some pretty bad but were all human I have always still wished them all the best.
I was served food that was not fit for human consumption.
It could not have been an "off" night and I would not even let my son try it... He was starving and we had waited an hour for it to be ready.
He managed to sneak a spoonful somehow and for a one year old to then cry say YUCKY and then go find a can of baked beans it has to mean something.
At first I thought that it was some kind of joke. I know that so far it is one man his son and his wifes opinion as she quietly sat down eating her plain rice until I asked her what she thought of her dish some lamblamb and beef rogan josh I think.
Butter Chicken - Tasted like 'out of date home brand tomato sauce with whatever random herbs were on hand' I honestly believe its some brand of tomato sauce mostly I am absolutely serious.
I Dont know what the chicken tasted like. Two cans of jack double and a cigarette later and I was still appetite-free I no longer felt the slightest spew I thought was going to happen for a good half hour.
I'm easily pleased. Never felt this way before. The mixed "4 different styles of chicken" was just a brown paper bag with a heap of chicken that might as well have been stained with red food colouring.

- Unimpressed. Butter chicken was not at all spicy and tasted only of tomato. Onion bhaji was stingy and was literally onion in batter deep fried not a pakora style mix at all. Veg pakora was best of items ordered. Samosa were very dense with potato but were tasty. Raita was like plain yoghurt with coriander on top and had a slightly strange taste. Nan was excellent. Rice was good.
