Madras House, located in Alfred Cove on Canning Highway, offers some of the finest Indian takeaway for a reasonable price. Menu selections include many popular favorites such as Madras House special Masala Dosa, Egg Dosa, Chettinad Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Beef Vindaloo. Many south indian vegetable dishes also fill the extensive menu, including Okra Delight,spicy aubergine, and Saag panneer. Paratta and fresh baked Naan bread are available to compliment each dish, many of which are available in spicy or mild. Madras House offers both collection and delivery options. Orders can be placed online for an added convenience.

- Lovely food. Channa Massala was the best I've had in Perth. Bread and pappodums were stale though which was disappointing given the rest of the meal. Online ordering easy and delivery on time. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go again soon.

- These guys make the best chicken vindaloo we've had - we've tried all of the other Indian restaurants in the area for comparison. We order it regularly. Their food is of very consistent quality, although the heat level can vary from one time to the next. Value for money is competitive with the other Indian restaurants in the area. We usually order takeaway and they can have oddly long wait times, but to be fair they do let you know up front how long it's going to take to be ready. I've never had to wait once I've arrived to pick it up. Our go-to curry place (and my husband's family is from India!).

Beef madras was great!
The tandoori chicken was a big letdown, it tasted like perhaps it wasn't marinated for long enough and/or cooked for too long and/or reheated before it got to us, not impressed at all for what we were paying for it- skip this dish.
Naans were great- not a fan of the peshwari, but I suspect that's just due to personal tastes. Wish there was cheese naan!
Complementary papadums.
And great phone service when we rang to change from pickup to delivery.
Fast delivery too on a Wednesday night.

- My wife and I had two so called curries on Friday night and all I can say is I could have produced a lot better. The only decent thing was the tandoori starter chicken, our mains were full of fatty meat the sauces were no way of a curry sauce standard should taste like, wont be eating out of there again.

- Been a long term customer but this was my first home delivery. As always the food doesn't disappoint, it's spicy hot just as requested, as it should be! Tasty, delicious and driver was early which was appreciated as we were hungry! Won't disappoint, hasn't for me for years.

- For three we ordered three curries (Aubergine, Chicken Vindaloo & Goat Masala) with a Veg Starter platter, large rice and 2 x garlic naan's and had it delivered.
The entree was average - It would have been good to know how many of each items would be provided and the only stand out item was the onion bhaji.
Apart from that we were very impressed with service, delivery, and the food. The curries were delicious and a nice serve. We definitely ordered the right amount for three and the value was good.

- I was violently ill within 5 minutes of eating the Raita and threw up for the next 30mins. All the other food was fine. I will never order from this restaurant again. Thank you for allowing me to comment. Also the food was luke warm and I do not know if that contributed to me throwing up.

- Naan was true elephant ear naan, simply brilliant and big.
However for the cost the vindaloo and butter chicken portions were on the small side.
Otherwise they were fast to order from and fast to deliver so 2 thumbs way up.
