- Tasty as usual, however we asked for delivery and it was over two hours before the food arrived. This would not normally be an issue but they said it would be 60 minutes when I ordered.

- Onion Bhaji good, Mixed pickles is Lime Pickle for info & Pappadums & Mango Chutney/Pickles good. Nice heat on the chicken vindaloo, meat good quality but a little tasteless. Other than that, very good all round experience, reasonably priced, quick service & very good food.

- Good food, delivery time leaves a lot to be desired. Two weeks ago I ordered some take-away food to be. Delivered ASAP. That was at 6.15pm. At about 7 pm I rang and was told the delivery was on its way. Nothing! Again, at 7.30 I rang and was told the same thing. At 8pm I rang to cancel my order. The woman pleaded with me and said I could blame the the delivery man.
I then became angry and told them not to pass the buck. I told them they should be honest and give us a realistic waiting time rather than waitling in vain.
So, my dear friends at Shalimar, let's be honest. 6our food is good enough to go back on my word and order your food again.

- Food was cold and delivery arrived 20 mins after promised time and that was already an hour. Drink was spilt and had to be re delivered so an expensive meal was spoilt. Food tasty but I have noticed that there is no consistency to how much chillie is in a meal so if you ask for top heat your food may be hot or may be mild. I was disappointed both times I have ordered.

- The food was very nice in flavour but I was extremely disappointed that unlike the promise on the website the restaurant did not ring to adjust the pickup time. I ordered it for 6.30 and this time was confirmed. I arrived by 6.20 thinking it was best to be early as we like our food hot and fresh. I found my order was already waiting in a plastic bag on the bench. When unwrapped the naan and entrees were quite cold and needed reheating and some of the mains were also cooler than desired
