- Used to be good. We used to order from them every Sunday but the last month or so the delivery has always been late, the containers not filled completely. We feel they have dropped the ball so we have taken our weekly Indian fix elsewhere.

- Absolutely disgusting customer service! We waited over 2 hours for our meal before calling to cancel and request a refund as it was too late to eat a meal. The food then arrived at 9:30pm and we were told to take the food anyway even though we we had cancelled and requested the refund. The manager called us at 10pm an argued with us about a refund saying that the food has been delivered (2 and a half hours after the order was made) and that he won't give a refund. We even offered to bring the food back as it was untouched and he continued to yell at us over the phone. It's a shame because the food has been good in the past but we will never order from them again!

My only complain would be the size of the portion: the "Surjits mixed platter for 2" just had 2 small pieces of tandoori chicken and 2 sausages, so much for a mixed platter.. - Julia

- I have given surjits 1 star as I cannot leave 0.
I have ate in this resteraunt on numerous occasions and it has been one of my favourites since moving to Sydney
I decided to treat myself and my partner to a take-away tonight. I ordered my usual 'chicken tikka masala' but upon arrival, it was not what I had ordered. It was basically chicken and oil, no sauce at all.i called the resteraunt to ask for a replacement, only to be told they cannot do this and that someone would call me the next day? I then asked for my money to be refunded but told no. I decided to go to the resteraunt in person tand return the food. They were rude and basically called me a liar and told me that if I wanted a refund to call eat now.
The attitude of the staff was rude and dismissive and offered no help at all.such a shame as this was a favourite restaurant of mines. - Charlie

- Our location was a bit tricky admittedly but the driver had trouble finding us so the food was cold. But the Malai Kofta did not seem frashly made, they were very cold, out of the fridge it would seem and hard.... Pretty inedible really... Sorry to say as we have eaten in the restaurant and enjoyed the food previously..

- Meal took one and a half hours to arrive, was cold and the rice was not what was ordered. When we rang to enquire it was clear they had the wrong address??
I could have and should have walked to the restaurant and got a takeway - would have taken about half an hour.

2 hours & I rang the restaurant. 'Very busy' was the reply.
15 minutes later (9.55pm) dinner arrived with 2 items missing & Luke warm.
Paid with PayPal so the 10% reduction offered by the delivery guy hasn't gone anywhere! No notification from PayPal of the discount.

- We have always loved Surjits and when we had to cancel our Anniversary dinner plans due to a sick child we decided to get it delivered. Delivery was very slow (although arrived just inside their long delivery window) and the food was cold and not up to it's usual great standard when it arrived. The breads and tandoori items really don't travel well - they were all sweaty and rubbery. Think in future we will save Surjits for when we can pick up or eat there.

- Food is always good from Surjits but I won't be ordering a home delivery ever again. They always say it will take 60mins. Last time I ordered it took 1 hour 20 mins, and then last night it took 1 hour 40mins. It's literally a two minute drive door to door. Maybe my fault for being too lazy to go and get it myself, but just a warning to everyone - you could be in for a long wait!!
