  • Speed is excellent, usually only 20 minutes, prices relatively cheap, portions are generous, food is delicious! However sashimi pieces can be very stringy, not high quality cuts. Overall best Japanese resteraunt near hawthorn.

  • I love this place. They have great tuna maki and sushi as well as other dishes for great price. It's usually either spot on or spot off when you order sushi out, but not here I have had nothing but great sushi everytime. They are always on time and friendly. Best Japanese restaurant in Kew.

  • My meal was squashed. The Raman noodles... don't bother, it was the noodles are so old. I can't say anything much.. the green Tea ice-cream was strange to get in scoops in a milkshake cup and crispy sand at the bottom. Was nice though. My caviar tolls were badly squashed and mangled.. how could she not loom at it before she knocked on my door. She obviously doesn't care. So I won't be ordering again. Not

  • These guys are fantastic! I love all the little twists on some classics, that really make these guys standout - the beef tataki for example, superb dressing, or the bao (not strictly Japanese i know!), amazing flavours. Ramen, Bento and Sushimi put together with care and skill. Always friendly, quick deliveries, maybe not the most traditional Japanese food, but sometimes that's exactly what you feel like.

  • The Good:
    - The order arrived on time and hot, and the delivery person was cheerful and nice.
    - The Yakitori chicken skewers tasted lovely.
    - The Ebi tempura I feel was good value for money, with prawns and vegetable tempura.

    The Bad:
    - The sauce from the skewers leaked all over the bag and the food containers when I removed it;
    - The tempura oil was much heavier than I expected, tasted old and greasy;
    - The prawns in the Ebi Tempura were slightly unwashed (that old salt water taste on one of them);
    - The Agedashi tofu was coated in ginger and very soft tofu. Also the smell that hit me when I opened that package convinced me not to eat it;
    - With the Edamame I expected boiled soya beans. The ones I received were pan fried, badly burned and covered in oil with some kind of sesame+something unidentified stuff. Threw it out without tasting.
    - Tried to save the meal with the ordered steamed rice but was disappointed to find some kind of sauce had been poured into the container as well, and it tasted awful.

    Not the worst Japanese I've eaten since moving to Melbourne, but I won't be ordering from here again. Overall quite unpleasant.
