- Absolute disgrace. Customer service and speed are non existent. Placed an order for 1 medium pizza and 1 salad at approx 7.10pm tonight (17 Dec 2014).
Received text confirmation that our order would be delivered in 60 min (therefore 8.15pm).
8.30pm comes - no pizza and no salad. We place a call and are told on the phone that the driver has left - we ask "so it will be here soon" are told "yeah" then hung up on.
8.45pm STILL no pizza or salad (hardly a large or difficult order). Phone Big Johns again and get the same "customer service rep" on the phone (loose term - this bloke belongs in a role not dealing with the public). Advise him we've been waiting too long and want to cancel the order. Does he try to fix anything? Nope - fine order cancelled.
9pm - knock on the door. It's the poor delivery driver who hasn't been told the order was cancelled with a hot pizza - so we were obviously given a whole lot of lies from the guy on the phone about when the order left.
Didn't bother taking the food but gave the driver a tip as not his fault.
Big Johns - learn the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE and TRAIN YOUR STAFF in what it means. Honestly goes a long way - not some off-handed, couldn't care less guy on the phones.
Will be staying local and be ordering anywhere but you in the future. And will be advising all friends, family and colleagues :) - John

- usually this restaurant has good delivery service & quality tasty food, but this particular delivery took 2 hours & was cold on arrival, no discount or apology was offered, a full credit refund was offered when i called into complain, but i'm very weary about ordering from these guys again.

You also can't pay with your card unless it's $50 or over. And they conveniently have an atm set up inside the shop.

- Big Johns rocks for a few reasons. They are open late, they deliver to a wide area, they have a great selection of pizzas with and they really pile on the toppings.
I am usually a thin-crust-woodfired-less-is-more type of pizza person. If you are into that you might want to try little Italy or similar. If you are looking for a big juicy pizza that will leave you stuffed after a few pieces you canâ??t do better than Big Johns.
My only suggestions to Big Johns are:
- It would be great to have a thinner crust option. I know you probably need the pan type crust to cope structurally with the toppings, but a man can dreamâ?¦
- Also, I really love the Greek special (have for years), but I often find the feta overwhelmingly salty. Maybe a less salty cheese like Danish feta would be more balancedâ?¦ - Leigh
