Restaurant owners Vas and Michelle opened Captain Chargrill in 1992 with families in mind. The menu has a large "meal deal" section where families can order a feast to feed the whole family for under $30. This seafood and grill restaurant offers a selection of charcoal chicken and hot packs, seafood, steak sandwiches and burgers, hotdogs, chicken burgers, and roasts. Salads, chips, vegetables, desert,and kids meals round out the already large menu. Captain Chargrill specializes in catering, and has a takeaway and home delivery menu.

- Pork was dry, over cooked & overly salty. Could hardly tell it was pork rather than lamb or beef. The chips were over cooked and swimming in (not fat) but grease. Threw 90% away. Will never order from here again!

- Combo-pack-snack-pack was absolutely unbelievable. I've been ordering this item for a few years and the most recent was the best ever. The prawns were amazing, of the highest quality with a great batter used. Fish and calamari delicious when dipped in the tarte sauce. Chips were great as always. The value for money in this item is great, very generous for the price and the taste is great. Highly recommend Chargrill, one of the best chippies in Adelaide!
