- We have been long term customers of Thai Benja for over 6 years. Throughout this time we understand that there has been different ownership/management however the standard of food has generally been good. This has now changed. Are there new owners or a new chef? We ordered 2 dishes from Thai Benja last week and noticed straight away a change in the flavours and quality. It doesn't taste like thai food anymore. To give them the benefit of the doubt though we ordered 3 dishes from them last night. It was terrible! The Panang Curry tasted like it was made from a supermarket jar without the coconut milk/cream added and the vegetables weren't cooked properly. The Chilli & Basil Noodles were not spicy, was dry had only 3 pieces of chicken per dish and very little vegetables. We basically paid $14.90 for a container of noodles with very little flavour :( We've been long standing customers of Thai Benja but after our last 2 experiences we won't be going back. Farewell Thai Benja!!!

- Have used Thai Benja before and always been very happy with the taste and quality of the food. I am usure if they have changed owners or chefs but the food we received this time was of poor quality and taste. The green curry was brown in colour and had no asian vegetables within it. The meat in the Massaman was chewy and not slow cooked and succelant as it would usually be and the potatoes were hard. There was also eggplant in both curries that was chewy and looked like sponge in texture. The cashew nut chilli jam stirfry had no chilli jam it was bland and watery. I am extremely suprised at this change and we were very disappointed.

- Eating in was much better than the take away we received unfortunately. Pad Thai wasn’t nice at all and very very dry. Disappointingly 90% carrot and veg in our other $15 dish.
Did not feel it was value for money.

- The meal delivered was unacceptable. My partner ordered a seafood laksa that contained no discernible spices despite asking for it to be medium hot. I ordered a Thai beef salad, something I often enjoy. The version this restaurant served was a container of hot overcooked second grade beef chunks with three pieces of cucumber, four thick segments of spanish onion and a watery dressing. There was nothing about this combination of ingredients that resembled the many delicious Thai beef salads I've eaten in the past. When I called to ask if I had been given the wrong dish I was told that I hadn't and that my concerns were not of any interest to them.

- Food was okay despite my order being wrong, store offered me credit after calling and explaining that I didn't recive what I ordered. Still frustrating as I ordered for myself and my vegetarian mother. I asked twice for vegetarian with egg, and even had my order read back to me. My mother resorted to picking meat out of her meal because she was hungry and didn't want the hassle of returning and waiting for a new dish to be prepared.

- Have ordered food through this website twice from Thai benja twice and food has been reasonable. Tonight my son in law ordered from Thai benja directly and found was sub standard. But worst of all was the delivery person knocked then opened my front door before I could. Not impressed. Will not order food from Thai benja again. And will not use this website again because they use Thai benja.
