- We have ordered from thai urban twice now. We felt the pad thai, beef massamun, satay chicken and fried rice were all below the standard offered by similar places around canberra. Also unlike other restaurants on eatnow our meal last night was 15 minutes late. Doesn’t make much difference I suppose but other places seem to be a little early or right on time. Also there was a small fly in our pad thai though I guess this could have found its way there after we opened the meal. We have decided to look elsewhere for our thai. Maybe we’ll try again in a few months. If we have a better experience we’ll definitely post it here :)

- The food is tasty from Thai Urban. However, I find it a little too greasy. The beef salad wasn’t fresh tasting at all. A nice grilled beef would have been lovely as well as opposed to dissatisfying limp beef.

- sad to say only tasty dish was the satay chicken entree - larb was bland, mussa mun beef had some weird smells/flavours, rice was bland, and lemongrass prawn was again strange in flavour - there are way better thai places to try - sorry but just being honest

- The last review I wrote for Thai Urban was not good, which was surprising as I usually think of them as excellent. We decided to give them a chance to redeem themselves as we are long term, frequent customers. Redeem themselves they certainly did! There food was second to none this time, They are certainly back on our list of excellent restaurants in Canberra's south.
