Wok This Way is located on Clarendon Street in South Melbourne. This restaurant specializes in tasty Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. The locals love the pad thai, and the Char Kwai Teow gets rave reviews for great taste and generous portions of chicken. Other items on the menu include bento boxes. - I made an order midday, for pick-up in the evening. I walked in, everything was ready to go and steaming hot! On that note, even when I made the short trip home, everything was still hot!
The special fried rice, no mucking around here, exactly what you want from special fried rice. The Won Tons, fried chicken wings, and roti bread with satay were awesome.
We also had the chef special, Duck, vegetables, and Shitake mushrooms. It packed a lot of flavour, and it was very well cooked. If only it wasn't as salty as it was, then it would have been an A+. If you are planning on getting the Chef's special Duck with vegetables and Shitake Mushrooms, make sure to get some steamed rice on the side, to break up the intense flavours.
