- The family pack offer good value for money.
However, the mango and pistachio kulfis were commercial packaged and had a grainy texture that did not suit our personal palates.
The butter chicken was slightly too sweet. The chicken itself was also not as tender as it could have been. Nonetheless, a good dish overall with plenty of chicken.
The lamb rogan josh was similarly satisfying just a tad bit salty. Though paired with the excellent raita the taste was balanced out nicely.
Mixed Vegetable pakora (4 patties) were dense and tasty.
The Naan were a little bit chewy so probably needed a little bit more time in the tandoor. Regardless, they still mopped up the remaining gravy on our plates well.
Pappadams and saffron rice were up to the usual standards that anyone could hope to expect. They both did their jobs in helping soak up the curries.
A few minor things that by no means spoiled the overall meal and therefore curry night was satisfied even if the kulfi finale did leave a grainy aftertaste.
It was nice to give a different establishment a go over our usual curry restaurant favourites. If you feel like a change once in a while give Tara's Cafe and Indian Restaurant a go. - Dat

- Disappointed. Meal was tasteless and rubbery. It was like our tandoor dishes had both been precooked and reheated. My fish was tasteless and unpleasant, I threw it away. I have always had great food from this place and I was really disappointed with tonight's meal.

- delivery only took 18 minutes from order at just before 8 am. As usual the pricing is reflected in the quality, that is to say it's excellent. you must try the butter chicken and Kashmiri naan. Not a cheap eat but a very satisfying treat of a meal. If you can afford it give it a go.

- This is a gem of a place. The curry was spicy and fragrant, the lamb cutlets were great, the bread was fresh out of the Tandoor, and the GULAB JAMUN was home made! Hallelujah! I am now a regular customer of theirs. So glad this is a local of mine!

- If there is anything that I love, it's a lamb cutlet. And their lamb cutlets were delish! And the chicken tikka masala was aromatic and spicy. The naan was fresh from the tandoor. The meal ended with real home made gulab jamun, they were not the tiny balls of chewiness that you usually get but soft and syrupy! And the staff were so lovely and polite.

- Not only was the food superb, Tara's Cafe gave us really good service when we were unable to collect our takeaways due to a flat tyre. Not often that you get that sort of service in this day and age, and we really appreciated it. The food was divine and I wouldn't hesitate to return to Tara's. Thanks again!

- Very good food, their butter chicken and Kashmiri naan is a must try! Took 40 minutes but it was very hot and fresh, clearly cooked to order. On the slightly expensive side but pretty good value overall considering the quality of food. Definitely going to order again!

- Speedy Delivery in 30 mins (promised in 45 mins). The Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) and the Chicken Tikka was really nice, saucy, well balanced and full of flavour. I actually felt guilty in going back for seconds.
