- Have wanted to try this restaurant and was totally blown away by the quality and portion size of the food. All was delivered on time and packaged well for delivery. Exceptional delivery driver who made recommendations of what to order next time if we liked this first order.. Overall...great service, speedy delivery and exceptional value for money.

- They were 30 minutes late. In terms of the food it was not labelled. I called up to ask where the food was and the person on the phone couldn't speak english. I will NEVER order from there again. They are lucky to even get 1 star

- This was our first experience with Satay Inn, problems began when we opened the bag containing our order.
The Laksa had leaked badly all over the other containers.
The Laksa itself was possibly the worst we had ever had, 3 small pieces of overcooked chicken, 3 pieces of rubbery tofu and noodles had very little taste or body.
The Lobak was reasonable but again without bite.
Coconut rice was overcooked and again it lacked flavour.
This was a warm Gado Gado as opposed to a chilled one and as such contained the general assortment of veggies, potatoes, cabbage, carrot and beenshoots covered in a thick peanut sauce. Again this dish was tasteless and worse the veggies were watery.
The Rendang was tough and chewy but did have reasonable taste.
The Singapore Noodles were a disaster, lifted the containers lid to find a complete mush of greatly overcooked noodles and a scattering of vegetables and a few bits of tough chicken not a prawn or shrimp to be seen. There was not a piece of noodle more than a centimeter long and the seasoning and flavour non existent.
Maybe this was a bad night, maybe inhouse eating would be better but after this meal I doubt I will give Satay Inn a second try. - John

- Amazing curry chicken. And excellent laksa. Even better then laksa king. Probably one of the better tasting laksa here in Melbourne. Fast delivery too!

- It was terrible because we never got it. The guy delivered it to the wrong address, which he only realised when we rang to see where our dinner was, and then he refused to give us a refund. I guess someone enjoyed dinner but it sure wasn't us!
