Asian and Thai delights occupy the most prominenet positions on the slick online ordering system at the Thai Garn restaurant on Lackey Street in the Summer Hill area of Sydney. The locals know that they have more than a few choices when it comes to Thai food, but they keep going back to Thai Garn when they want delectable curry, stir fries and a few of those mildly addictive Thai desserts, such as Khao Neaw Kow and Kluay Buad Chee that add new dimensions to rice and bananas and coconut milk.

- Always VERY quick delivery, food is tasty and fragrant. The jeep thai dumplings are really delicious and texturally interesting. The fresh rolls here are AMAZING! They aren't wrapped in rice paper, but rather an incredibly thin pancake-type thing. They're stuffed with pumpkin, tofu etc. They wont be to everyone's taste - they're very vegetable-y - but I highly recommend as a healthy addition.

- After over thirty years of not ordering fried rice (except the super authentic sticky version wrapped in lotus served in good chinese restaurants) I've become addicted to the fried rice with shallots and tomatoes. Brill! The fresh rolls are, as always, delish, and the Jeep Thai, a relatively new discovery, HIGHKY RECOMMENDED!

- Great quality, reasonably priced authentic Thai food. Large menu with things you don't find at every Thai restaurant too. Really speedy delivery, and they even included some complimentary entrees! I'll definitely order from here again.

- Chicken and beef stir fry had no real flavor. Pad see also had no flavor. Not sweet enough and noodles were quite thick and stiff rather than slippery and soft like they are at other places. Also online ordering through this app is more expensive than ordering direct with shop.

- Pretty average. I've ordered before and it wasn't great, so thought I'd try again last night in case it was a one off, but it was much the same - the beef is very grey, a bit of a turnoff, and just no sauce at all - no flavour in the cashew nut noodles last night at all, in fact it tasted a bit weird. And in my previous order all meals were just too light on flavour. With so much choice out there for tasty and delicious Thai, unfortunately Thai Garn doesn't cut it which is a shame because they are close to home. Especially as they charge approx $14 for noodles/stir fry, it'd want to be better than many others in the area that charge $12, but it's not - unfortunately we won't be back.
