- We love this Indian as our favourite restaurant and takeaway but for some reason tonight the meat was so tough(when it normally breaks away and melts in your mouth)there was some grisel in the butter chicken and the pappadums were stale and the samosas were very dry.A disappointing and terrible experience when usually the best.

- All items were delicious, paneer tikka, mixed veg curry and onion bahji arrived on time and hot. The Naan was a little doughy and undercooked, but the other dishes were fragrant, delicately spiced very tasty and beautifully cooked. Will order again, and I would thoroughly recommend Dawat Indian Restaurant to everyone.

- We used to live close by and were regulars. We now live in Mt Lawley and have tried a few of the Indian restaurants nearby but it just doesn't compare to Dawat's. Our usual order is the butter chicken, the rice, cheese naan and garlic naan. The butter chicken is my boyfriend's favourite and he refuses to have it anywhere else now. Service is great all the time :)

- wow. Usually very quick. Tonight waited over an hour, then called and explained to two different people my food hadn't arrived. I said I was going out in half an hour and not to worry just to cancel my order and refund. They said they couldn't do that. When I said not to worry I would lodge a dispute, they suddenly sent someone out. The person arrived with 1 rice. I ordered 2 dishes, rice and naan. And I got 1 rice. Luckily the original order also turned up. Food is excellent as always, but I can't forgive this. Not listening to me, and making someone drag out with just rice. As if i would demand someone come out with just rice. Come on. Have some common sense.

- I ordered the Butter Chicken and while the chicken was cooked well, I got a few bits of gristle and the sauce was like tomato soup- very, very, sweet tomato soup, which is not to my taste. The lady at the counter when I picked it up was super nice- I definitely can't fault their customer service, but I probably wouldn't be back.

- Your delivery driver is extremely rude, after spending $65 we don't appreciate being yelled at as soon as we open the front door about it being to far away and next time we'll be charged the extra kms. If there was an option to pay for extra kms when ordering I would have no problem whatsoever paying for them. Also the lamb horns wasn't very nice.
