Any season is the proper season when it comes to the Asian and Malaysian dishes that await you when yo select the 4 Seasons Laksa restaurant on South Road in Melbourne's Hampton East suburb. Use the online order system to arrange takeaway and delivery, and no matter which of the fine 4 Seasons Laksa dishes you order, do not fail to investigate the Aussie's Favourite section of the menu. - Sadly this will be the last time I order from here, this is the second time we have been stung by this place. Food arrived 20 minutes late and stone cold. I rang to ask what had gone wrong only to be told that they didn't get the order until 20 minutes after I received the SMS notification. Even if that was the case the food should have turned up hot. Will not be ordering from here again.

- Food was reasonably authentic - good curry base, I prefer smaller pieces of chicken on satay sticks, but overall a very good meal.

- Received an SMS stating food would be delivered in thirty minutes. It finally arrived - COLD - more than two hours later. Despite three calls to the restaurant and being given various excuses ('we're busy tonight', 'the food is here but the driver is out', 'oh, the driver just got back, he will be there soon') we didn't receive our meal until more than two hours after ordering. It was cold. From what we could tell, the flavours were excellent, everything looked great, just was freezing after hours of delay. Restaurant would not give me a partial refund and offered no comp drink or part of the menu. Apparently they had received the wrong address. Yes, it could have been a mix up but I had no apology, no refund, no attempt to make things right. A shame because the (cold) food smelled lovely. I called twice subsequently to ask for a 50 per cent refund and was given excuses and rebuffed. I would guess they do not usually offer such poor service but this was a huge waste of time for us.

- Sad to say that I was disappointed with my order. At 7pm we ordered for 8:30 as I wasn't able to be home before then. To our surprise the food arrived at 7:30. We had questioned as to why the food had come early only to have explained that it wasn't their problem. Luckily we were able to keep the food warm until I got home but the food was overly salty and parts were overcooked. I don't think we will be ordering from here again for a very long time.

- Laksa is incredible, however the chicken is done Malaysian style (with the skin still on) which is something I personally can't stand. Everything is fresh and it arrived really quickly. Would definitely eat there again!
