We all know food = love. Sharing a favourite feast is a sure fire way to show someone, especially mum, just how much they mean to you.

Tasty takeaways are a tip top idea to add to the experience of Mother's Day, so we had our biggest food fans, members of the EatNow team, share their order ideas for their mums.

Matt:  Mum's pretty adventurous and loves to try new things, but she doesn't really like spicy stuff. I'd probably get her onto one of those american barbecue places or maybe something mild from a Korean restaurant. We'd definitely get dessert too!

Maddie:  My Dad is a picky eater so mum doesn't get to eat different foods very often. She's but LOVES sauerkraut, sausages and potatoes. She's also a HUGE paprika fan, so even though she probably doesn't know it yet, Hungarian is the perfect meal for her. I'd grab a share plate and let her try everything! She's a brilliant mum, so I'd order her one of those special homemade donuts too.

Sylvia: Mum would really enjoy something Asian: either Malaysian, Thai or Vietnamese. We always share our food around the table, so she could enjoy her favourite curry, stirfry and noodles in the same meal. In celebration of her we'd, of course, have dessert - fried ice cream all the way!

Rob: It's a special day right, so my mum can have an order of gelato in every flavour matched with some oyster bay sauv blanc! (I'd also have it delivered to a hotel room she can stay in, 'cause I'm a great son like that)

Steph: I'd get Mexican for my Mum on Mother's Day. It is absolute FAVOURITE. It's also something that we share a love for. We've got some great memories from a family holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and the food is a big part of that.
